I show a 8inch & 12inch plush Dusty toy which many people say is real. So lets have a closer look and investigate the tags on these plush Disney Planes toys. I will also show the real Planes Dusty toys so you can start to see the differences in design and how the real toys have details and tags which cant be found on the fake. To make all this super confusing there are different designs of real and fake Disney Planes charers. \r

The large Dusty Plush featured which talks is called Planes Flying Friends. When moved Dusty repeats some famous phrases from the film Planes. I found it at ToysRUs in Australia for $30. The smaller Dusty plush has a Disney Planes tag and most importantly this tag has a hologram of Mickey Mouse. This sort of identification feature is difficult for the knock off fories to re-produce. But sadly the use of this feature on a tag which can so easily be removed doesnt make much sense. \r

Sometimes its difficult to spot a knock off toys, even more difficult online, I have found some Cars2 Lightning McQueen, Despicable Me Minions, Peppa Pigs, Pokemon, Minecraft and other popular toys which would fool most consumers. I have seen many times some retailers mix licensed and non licensed toys in their stores. One s as a cover for the other. A search on ebay will bring up page after page of results and sadly many for sale are knock off toys, especially if the seller is from Hong Kong or China. Its worth looking at the sales history of sellers on ebay, many have been pushing knock off products for many years, and nearly every time these products are far cheaper than the licensed official products. \r

Planes is a new American 3D computer-animated sports comedy film produced by DisneyToon Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is a spin-off of Pixars Cars franchise and the first film in a planned Planes trilogy. Despite not being produced by Pixar, the film was co-written and executive produced by Pixars chief creative officer John Lasseter, who directed the Cars films. Like most of DisneyToons films, it was initially set to be released as a direct-to-video film, but was theatrically released on August 9, new in the Disney Digital 3D and RealD 3D formats. A sequel, titled Planes: Fire & Rescue, is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 18, new. I dare say the knock off toys will only increase with the release of the new Planes film.\r
