Designed an inexpensive(sub $10) motorized battery-powered turntable display. The DC motor is controlled by a 3.3V 8Mhz Pro Mini micro-controller and a H-bridge motor driver(mx1508). Salvaged Parts: VCR Head, DVD-ROM Drive Motor, 10K pot from old TV, and miscellaneous screws and wire from other discarded electronics. The 8 platform is magnet-held in place. The device draws only 22mA~35mA and is powered by a 3400mAh 18650 battery. The whole project was modeled in Blender and once 3D printed, everything fit together very well. Video features a complete project build from start to finish..3D printing, project assembly, final demo, and Blender Animation. If you like this video please give it a thumbs-up. Project link: \r
