Chapter B,which is also known as 1920-1940,Franklin D.Roosevelt,Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin, is the second prequel of the 10-part documentary of Oliver Stone's The Untold History Of The United States.
Oliver Stone and his collaborators discusses the events that happened from 1920 to 1940 particularly the rise of Nazism and Adolph Hitler as the leader of Germany,the rise of Joseph Stalin as the Soviet leader and the election of Franklin D. Roosevelt as President of the United States.Also included in the discussion is the rise of Fascism and Benito Mussolini as the president of Italy.Added to that,it also gives focus to the economic struggles and difficulties that the United States experienced during the 1930's which is known as The Great Depression and the changes it brought to the country after it experienced great economic prosperity during the 1920's which is also known as the Roaring Twenties.Added to that,it narrates the global events that led to the second World War which was due to Hitler's desire for world domination and reasons why the United States got involved in it after reluctantly participating in World War I.Finally,it also examined the deteriorating relationship between the Soviets and the Americans together with the British.
