Women's rights groups say the ad justifies domestic violence by implying women with darker skin deserve abuse. Yet, Slimmewhite is defending the campaign, saying it teaches men to appreciate their wives. Even though skin lightening is a $20 billion global industry, it goes without saying that it has zero effect on domestic abuse.
