Clashes broke out in Jerusalem again on Tuesday, as a standoff continues between Muslim worshippers and Israeli police. The unrest started over a decision by Israeli authorities to install metal detectors at Temple Mount, which is known to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif. They were put up after gunmen killed two Israeli guards earlier this month at the holy site. The metal detectors have since been removed but security cameras remain in place.
