Presently Bangalore - Tumkur is Double line and Tumkur to Arsikere is a Single line section and one can notice the doubling work is under progress.This is also the line which further passes through important towns and cities such as Kadur, Davangere, Harihara, Ranibennur, Havrei and the twin cities Hubli-Dharwad.The line further heads north towards Londa, Vasco, Belgaum, Miraj and Pune. \r

The line Branches at Arsikere to proceed towards Hassan-Mangalore and Mysore. Second Branch at Kadur to proceed towards Chikkamagaluru , Third Branch at Birur to proceed towards Shivamogga and Talguppa, Fourth branch at Chikkajajur to proceed towards Chitradurga and the fifth branch at Amravati Colony to proceed towards Hospet and finally reaches Hubli Junction.\r

Aralaguppe is a small village close by to Tiptur on the Bangalore - Arsikere Section and it has a Single Track halt station as seen in the video. Enjoy watching trains banking over the massive curve right outside the station. A pure diesel territory to enjoy watching trains.\r
