Campement américain de début Aout 1944 qui a accueilli la deuxième division blindé du Général Leclerc pendant 3 à 6 jours (flou historique).\r
En pleine opération Cobra sous lappellation de la guerre des haies dans le cotentin ce champ et ses alentours à dabord était bombardé puis occupé. \r
Oublié de tous cest par hasard que lhistoire de ce champ a refait surface.\r
