How To Make Jewelry: How To Make Boho Chic Bangle Bracelets\r
\r
These Boho Chic Bangle Bracelets look like they came from a boutique, but they are so easy to make! We wrapped inexpensive bracelets with ribbon, then added crystals and charms.\r
\r
To get started making your own Boho Chic Bangle Bracelets, you will need a stack of cheap metal bangles. (About 30.) We got ours at Claires! You will also need 1/4” to 3/8” wide ribbon. We used magenta, burgundy, gold, purple, cobalt blue, turquoise, teal, green, yellow, orange, and red. We made a rainbow with ours, but you could make them in ombre using white, light blue, and blue or white, pink, and red. The wire you will need is 26-gauge brass wire. You will also need 48 bicone crystals in size 4mm. We matched the colors of the bicones to the colors of the bracelets and used about 6 crystals per bangle. If you want, get some gold charms too, to add to some of the bracelets. We used about 25 charms. The tools you will need for this diy jewelry project are chain-nose pliers and wire cutters. We also used Fabri-Tac glue.\r

Here are the steps:\r
1. To make the ribbon wrapped bangles, cut a 30″ length of ribbon. Glue one end of the ribbon to a bracelet. Wrap the ribbon tightly around the bracelet overlapping the previous wrap slightly. When the whole bracelet is wrapped, glue the end down. \r
2. To add a charm, cut a 30″ length of wire. Leaving a 1″ tail, wrap the wire around the ribbon-wrapped bracelet about 30 times all the way around, twist the ends of the wire together two times, slide a charm onto the wire, twist that end back, and wrap around the other wire. Trim the wire. Press the ends down with pliers. \r
3. To add bicones, cut a 30″ length of wire. Leaving a 1″ tail, wrap the wire around the ribbon-wrapped bracelet about 5 times, slide on a bicone that matches the ribbon, wrap the wire 5 more times, add another bicone, and repeat until the bracelet has 6 bicones and is wrapped with wire. Twist the ends of the wire together two times, slide a charm onto the wire, twist that end back, and wrap around the other wire. Trim the wire. Press the ends down with pliers.\r
