Digital eco-responsibility, it’s not a new quote that your insurer has been chasing you about for three months, no…

Digital eco-responsibility is an attempt to minimise the environmental footprint caused by all of our electronic devices.

And for that, there’s a lot we can do…

Take Agnes for example, a real techie, who decided to stop wasting electricity:
with her state-of-the-art smartphone, she can reduce the screen brightness, disable automatic network searching, close any app running in the background, etc…
And also at home, by always switching off her 16K TV, robot vacuum cleaner, Bluetooth sound system, waterproof PC, etc. at the wall instead of leaving them on standby.

or Fabrice, the owner of a start-up who is encouraging his employees to recycle their old mobile phones that have been sitting around unused at home for years. That way, other people can use the phones that still work, and for the mobiles that don’t, the parts can be re-used to save on resources.

And finally, how about Sylvain, a young biker dad who has made himself sort through his inbox and delete all of the newsletters about pushchairs and motorbikes once he’s read them, thus reducing the pollution caused by the servers that store all of his data on the other side of the world.

In short everyone can help save resources and do their bit, all through small gestures, even if it doesn’t save you money on your motorbike insurance…
