Arlette Pender is an African-American hair stylist who works upstairs from the Scottsdale Raising Arizona Kids magazine offices. With the increase in bi-racial marriages and a spike in the adoption of kids from countries in Africa, Arlette says shes seeing an increase in the number of parents who need help in caring for their childrens hair.
