A new Quinnipiac University poll finds that a majority of Americans deem President Trump unfit to lead the country.
More specifically, 56% of the survey participants held that view, and not surprisingly, opinions varied across demographic and party lines.
94% of Democrats said that Trump is not fit to serve as president compared to only 14% of Republicans in that camp.
Furthermore, 49% of men responded he's fit to lead the nation while just 35% of women said the same.
The poll was conducted from September 21 to 26 and involved 1,412 U.S. voters.
It also revealed that 69% participants want the president to stop tweeting from his personal account.
In the recent past, Trump's tweets have included comments on NFL anthem protests and North Korea.
"If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country, you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend!" Trump tweeted Sunday.
"Just heard Foreign Minister of North Korea speak at U.N," read another tweet. "If he echoes thoughts of Little Rocket Man, they won't be around much longer!"
