President Trump on Monday said Puerto Rico is in "deep trouble" because of problems that predated Hurricane Maria. Monday night’s tweets were the first from Trump about Puerto Rico since Wednesday and it comes after House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi urged earlier Monday for the Pentagon to send more hands to help Puerto Rico saying: “ they deserve to know that their government will be there for them, without question or hesitation"
