Jennifer Love Hewitt (born February 21, 1979) is an American ress, television producer and director, singer/songwriter and author. Hewitt began her ing career as a child by appearing in television commercials and the Disney ChannelKids Incorporated. She rose to fame for her role as Sarah Reeves Merrin on the Fox teen drama Party of Five (1995–99). She later starred in the horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and its 1998 sequel.\r

From 2005 to new, Hewitt starred as Melinda Gordon on the CBS supernatural drama Ghost Whisperer, for which she won two Saturn Awards in 2007 and 2008. She later starred on the Lifetime dramaThe Client List from new to new, and was previously nominated for a Golden Globe Award for the pilot film.
