\r
Tools:\r
• Paint Brushes (Small and Large) - Citadel Brand\r
• Paint - Citadel/Warhammer\r
• LEGO Minifig/parts\r
• Cup of water\r
• Fine tip Black pen - Stamping Up!\r
• Newspaper\r
\r
Steps:\r
\r
1. Decide on a charer from a tv show, , book or game that youd like to recreate in LEGO Form. Search up some picture and draw up a design for their parts and decide on the colours you would like to use. I like to start with the body\r
\r
2. Gather parts for your charer from old minifigs that you no longer care for or purchase parts off a store. Try to make them the base colour of your charer. Eg Black body for Black Canary.\r
\r
3. Get some newspaper. Maybe even a couple bogans on the front, up to you. This will prevent you from ruining that lovely desk you just bought .\r
4. Now to start painting. If the lego part already has printing, paint over it with your base colour using a large brush. I always do 2 coats. \r
\r
5. Using a small brush begin laying the colours for any details on your charers body. In this case the jacket details for Black Canary. Remember this doesnt have to be perfect you can always perfect the details after they dry.\r
\r
Tip: Always refer back to your picture to ensure you are making the figure accurately.\r
\r
6. Once the paint is dry take a fine tip black pent to help make any details pop or fix up some easy mistakes.\r
7. After allowing it to dry for as long as you like apply a paint sealant to prevent any of your har work from being ruined.\r
\r
8. Finally. Take some photos and share them with your friends!
