Puerto Rico's city of San Juan was strewn with wreckage on Wednesday, in the aftermath of what has been described as the strongest storm to strike the US territory in almost 90 years. Hurricane Maria's strong winds ripped roofs off houses and uprooted trees on the Caribbean island, killing at least nine people and cutting power across the entire island.
