• 1 1/2 cups sugar\r
• 1/4 cup corn syrup\r
• 1/2 cup water\r
• White and red gel/food coloring\r
• Clear sprinkles \r
• Apples\r
• Wooden apple sticks\r
\r
Procedure:\r
1. Wash, dry and remove stems from apples. Insert a wooden apple stick into the top of the apple.\r
2. Place sugar, corn syrup and water into a saucepan and heat on medium high until mixture reaches between 250F-300F. \r
3. Remove sugar from heat and stir in white coloring, then red coloring. \r
4. Turn the pot slightly to the side, and twirl apple in the hot liquid. \r
5. Once apple is fully coated in sugar, place it onto a piece of parchment paper. Allow to harden. Repeat for additional apples.
