Not who we expected! The hit ABC show The Bachelor announced their season 22 star: Arie Luyendyk Jr. is ready to find love!

The franchise decided not to choose someone from this past Bachelorette season featuring Rachel Lindsay, which they usually do.

Producers went all the way back to Emily Maynard’s 2012 season where Arie was the runner-up.

The 35-year-old racecar driver turned real estate agent stopped by the Good Morning America studios to confirm the exciting news.
