A store owner in Everett, Washington is live streaming homeless encampments outside his shop
Washington has been hit hard by the opioid crisis over the past few years, which has increased the homelessness problem in parts of the state. As homeless people started to gather outside of his shop, the store owner decided to draw attention to the problem, installing a camera on his storefront.
Thousands are actively following the live feed, commenting and criticizing the homeless. Some town residents think the publicity could lead to change and hopefully to an improvement in the opioid epidemic in town.
