The District Magistrate in Farukkhabad in Uttar Pradesh has ordered a probe into the deaths of over 49 children in a month in the Ram Manohar Lohia Rajkiya Chikitsalay. The reasons for the deaths were allegedly due to oxygen and medicines shortage. An FIR has been filed against the hospital and the district magistrate has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
