India crushed Sri Lanka by six wickets in the fifth and final ODI at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The Men in Blue became the first visiting country to whitewash a five-match ODI series 5-0 in Sri Lanka. Before this India had also beaten the Lankans 3-0 in the three-Test match series. Bhuvneshwar Kumar's five-wicket haul, India bundled out the hosts for a modest 238 runs in 49.4 overs. In reply, Virat Kohli hit his 30th ODI century to help India get over the line in just 46.3 overs.
