This is a dish from the local, rural tradition and it used to be the main on Sundays. It is a mixture of different cuts of boiled meat, served with vegetables and different types of gravy such as mustard. It is a very simple dish, but it is the ideal for meat lovers.

You can try it at Al’Less, a restaurant that made bollito its name (“less” in the local dialect is “lesso” in Italian, which means boiled) and its specialty, while most of the places in the city do not serve it anymore. It is located in Via Lombardia, north-east of the city centre, not far from Milano Centrale station as well.
