The CBI court has sentenced Ram Rahim Singh to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment in each of two rape cases that he has been convicted for. The court, in an important demarcation, stated that the sentences will run consecutively and not concurrently. This makes the total punishment 20 years of rigorous imprisonment in jail. Earlier reports said that Ram Rahim Singh has been sentenced to 10 years in jail after being held guilty on rape charges.
