കേരളത്തില്‍ സന്തോഷ് പണ്ഡിറ്റെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ പലരും കളിയാക്കി ചിരിക്കുന്നത് പതിവായിരുന്നു.ഒരു അടിസ്ഥാനവുമില്ലാതെ സിനിമകളെടുക്കുന്നു എന്ന പേരിലായിരുന്ന സന്തോഷ് പരിഹാസങ്ങള്‍ക്കും വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഇരയായിരുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയാണ്. പലരും സന്തോഷ് പണ്ഡിറ്റ് എന്ന വ്യക്തിയെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
