The Shiv sena on Monday demanded that muslims who oppose the singing of Vande Mataram should be treated as anti nationals and disenfranchised. Protesting against the ruckus inside the Aurangabad muncipal corporation on saturday on the issue of Vande Mataram, the party Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed his ire against cow vigilantes indulging in violence.

വന്ദേമാതരാലാപനത്തെ എതിര്‍ക്കുന്നവരെ രാജ്യദ്രോഹികളായി കണക്കാക്കണമെന്നും അവരുടെ വോട്ടവകാശം റദ്ദാക്കണമെന്നും ശിവസേന ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ഔറംഗാബാദ് നഗരസഭയില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസമുണ്ടായ കൈയാങ്കളിയെക്കുറിച്ച് പാര്‍ട്ടി മുഖപത്രമായ സാമ്‌നയില്‍ എഴുതിയ മുഖപ്രസംഗത്തിലാണ് ഈ ആവശ്യം ഉന്നയിച്ചത്. ഔറംഗാബാദ് നഗരസഭയില്‍ വന്ദേമാതരം ആലപിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ചില മുസ്ലിം അംഗങ്ങള്‍ എഴുന്നേല്‍ക്കാതിരുന്നത് രാജ്യത്തെ അവഹേളിക്കുന്നതിന് തുല്യാമാണ്.
