Kylie Jenner’s cosmetic company is set to earn one billion dollars by 2022.
And if that doesn’t make your jaw drop – we don’t know what will.
She launched her first lip kit in 2015 and 18 months later it’s earned 420 million dollars.
So look out L’Oreal. She’s coming.
Last year Kylie released the limited edition birthday collection and that brought in 10 million dollars in 24 hours. Compare that with Tom Ford Beatuty – which took a decade to hit 500 million in sales.
Jenner told WWD that she does want her own stores and thinks it’s time people walk into a store and see Kylie Cosmetics.
Of course, there’s also been some setback.
A number of people that ordered the product had complaints of damaged goods and even empty boxes. In 2016 the Better Business Bureau gave the company a C rating, citing a failing to resolve underlying causes of a pattern of complaints.
But guess none of that really mattered.
She’s laughing all the way to the bank.
