Tornado Damages 2.4 Miles of Forestry Northeast of Millinocket

The National Weather Service out of Caribou, Maine, confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down roughly two miles northeast of Millinocket, Maine, on August 5. The tornado remained on the ground for 2.4 miles, and winds reached 90 to 100 mph.

This video was posted on August 8, showing a damage survey conducted by Maine Forest Rangers.
