Roads between Ocean City and South Bethany Beach were flooded on Monday, August 7, as a series of storms swept through the area.

Ocean City was under a tornado warning until 5:15 pm Monday. Severe storms were reported across the state, with a tornado spotted in Salisbury that day. The National Weather Service said the tornado was an EF1 with winds of 105 mph.
