WWE wrestlers often have a number of defining characteristics that help them stand out in the ring. Some choose fancy ring gear, others wear a mask, and then there are all those who go all out with face paint. Night in and night out, these Superstars must apply the paint to their face in a dedication to the fans all around the world. Through the years, we have seen some signature looks in the ring, but it’s hard to imagine what these wrestlers look like without the face paint on.
One of the most legendary wrestlers of all-time is Sting, but many fans would not be able to recognize him just walking down the street. Papa Shango had a great look to him, but many fans may not remember that the voodoo warrior was actually several other wrestlers. The tag team of Demolition had some pretty intense face paint, but looked like normal guys outside the ring. The tag team of Legion of Doom featured unique face paint and Animal’s covered his up more than Hawks. Many performers played Doink the Clown through the years and each one looks completely different without the make-up. Kamala was a beast in the ring, but just looked like your average guy when the face paint was taken off. Other wrestlers on the list includes Vampiro, Finn Balor, Umaga, the Insane Clown Posse, WCW’s Kiss Demon, Damien 666, The Great Muta, Goldust, and the scary Boogeyman. Each one has unique face paint designs, but can easily walk down the street without getting noticed.
