New Hyundai Verna 2018 model for India unveiled. The 2018 Hyundai Verna model for India will be launched on August 22, 2017. Hyundai India has also released the technical details of the India-spec model.

The 2018 Hyundai Verna is based on the K2 platform built on advanced high-strength steel which improves body rigidity and crash performance.The chassis of the new Hyundai Verna has been stiffened, and the suspension setup is new to deliver superior ride and handling.

The 2018 Hyundai Verna model will be offered with two engine options, a 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 121.3bhp, and the diesel motor churns out 126.2bhp. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox tuned for superior low and high speed performance with high fuel efficiency.

DriveSpark Thinks! Hyundai has finally revealed the new Verna model for India. When launched in India, the 2018 Hyundai Verna will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento.
