The fear that was originally brought to players in Resident Evil Revelations returns redefined for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One complete with high quality HD visuals, enhanced lighting effects and an immersive sound experience. The critically acclaimed survival horror title takes players back to the events that took place between Resident Evil®4 and Resident Evil®5, revealing the truth about the T-Abyss virus. Resident Evil Revelations features series favorites Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, plus their respective BSAA partners - Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat. The action begins on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship, the Queen Zenobia', where horrors lurk around every corner, before players head for the mainland and the devastated city of Terragrigia. With limited ammo and weapons available, the race is on to survive the horror of Resident Evil Revelations. In addition to the thrilling campaign storyline, this latest version of Resident Evil Revelations will also include the fan favorite Raid Mode. Raid Mode, which was first introduced to the series in the original version of Resident Evil Revelations, sees gamers play online in co-op mode or alone in single player taking on the hordes of enemies across a variety of missions whilst leveling up characters and earning weapon upgrades.

Revelations versetzt Spieler ins Jahr 2005 - zwischen die Geschehnisse von Resident Evil 4 und Resident Evil 5 - und erzählt die Geschichte von BSAA-Mitglied Jill Valentine sowie ihrem neuen Partner Parker Luciani. Als Schauplatz dient ein angeblich verlassenes Kreuzfahrtschiff: Jill und Parker folgen ihrem Auftrag, den vermissten Chris Redfield aufzuspüren - seine zuletzt bekannten GPS-Daten führen sie dabei exakt auf den havarierten Ozeanriesen. Doch das Schiff entpuppt sich als verhängnisvolle Falle: Hinter jeder Ecke lauern tödliche Gefahren, denen sich Jill und Parker auf ihrer Suche stellen müssen. Sie sind gezwungen, auf engstem Raum einem neuen Gegner gegenüberzutreten, der in der Dunkelheit erwacht. Spieler und Serien-Fans erwartet ein vollständig neues und einzigartiges Horror-Setting: unter Wasser versuchen die Titelhelden, den bösartigen Kreaturen zu entfliehen, die das Schiff heimsuchen. Doch auch das Wasser ist kein sicherer Zufluchtsort, um den Angriffen aus der Tiefe zu entkommen - Jill und Parker unternehmen einen verzweifelten Versuch, um sich lebend vom Kreuzer befreien zu können.
