Calling Tex and Renee Petersen 'mom' and 'dad' has changed 18-year-old Carson's life. The foster child from California was in and out of the system for 13 years, but he's lived with the Petersens for the last three. This summer, Carson decided to officially become their son. He says he's gone from experimenting with drugs and alcohol to cleaning up, getting good grades and going to church, all thanks to his parents.
