OAKVILLE, CANADA — Concerned Canadians have got their eyes peeled for a suspected hit-and-run driver who allegedly knocked a poor lady off her bicycle last Friday.
News of the collision in Oakville, Ontario was posted to Facebook by cyclist Stacey Talbot's son Blake and has since been shared thousands of times.
Stacey broke her nose and sustained injuries to her face when a vehicle she described as a 2-door white car sideswiped her bike as it turned in front of her, the Toronto Star reported.
Blake wrote on Facebook that he would "love to catch the dirtbag who thinks it's OK to leave a bleeding woman they just hit on the street."
The post has more than 1,200 likes, 750 comments and over 5,000 shares from well-wishers, who are all praying Stacey makes a speedy recovery.
A CT scan revealed bleeding on Stacey's brain and doctors have kept her in the hospital as they wait for the results of further tests.
Here's hoping she'll be OK. But in the meantime, Blake has a message for whoever knocked his mom over: Turn yourself in.
