Orbital ATK's Cygnus cargo spacecraft docked with the International Space Station. The United Launch Alliance launched the spacecraft atop an Atlas V rocket from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on Tuesday. The spacecraft will deliver an estimated 7,500 pounds (3401.94 kg) of supplies and science equipment to support experiments in biology, biotechnology, physical science and Earth science. The Cygnus will remain docked with the ISS for two months before returning to Earth with 3,000 pounds (1360.78 kg) of waste from the station.
