President Donald Trump's new communications director Anthony Scaramucci vowed to halt leaks. Scaramucci called leaks "un-American" and said any staff members doing so would be fired. "If we don't get the leaks stopped, I am a businessperson, and so I will take dramatic action to stop those leaks. I am going to tell them to stop the leaks, if we don't stop the leaks I'm going to stop you." Trump has continued to target media for "leaking information," particularly Washington Post and the New York Times.
