Yes, you’re watching a man strumming a guitar through brain surgery.An Indian man played guitar as doctors operated on his brain for seven hours.
Abhishek Prasad suffers from ‘musician’s dystonia,’ a neurological condition that causes painful hand spasms.
Doctors put him under anesthesia, yet kept him awake.
During the operation, they monitored his spasms, which only occur when he plays guitar, to better target the affected part of his brain.
The surgery was a success, and Prasad says his fingers are 100% cured.
He plans to release his first album next year. Rock on Prasad!
