In 2017, I travelled across South East England and interviewed dozens of people involved in staging Gilbert & Sullivan's Savoy Operas, as they are called - "The Mikado", "The Pirates of Penzance", "H.M.S. Pinafore", "Patience", "Iolanthe", "The Gondoliers", "The Sorcerer", "Yeomen of the Guard"... They shared their stories, they talked about their involvement in this wonderful tradition, and although one single film can hardly do justice to their passion and dedication, I still hope that it will give you a glimpse of what it's like to be part of the G&S family.

The film stars cast and crew members of various theatrical societies, Simon Butteriss, Ian Smith (the founder of the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival) and Ian Martin, D'Oyly Carte's managing director, and features many performances from around the world.
