An amusing video has emerged of a couple forced to run for cover as fireworks explode right next to them during their marriage proposal.

The footage, shot on July 10 in Utah, USA, shows the man kneeling down, handing a ring to his girlfriend, when bright red sparks disrupts the romantic moment.

"Sparks definitely flew when my brother proposed to his girlfriend. Like, the sparks literally flew at my house," the man's sister wrote online.
