North Eastern Railway special - At Bhatni Junction outer we got the green to skip through.Here 21 coach load 15048 Gorakhpur - Kolkata Purvanchal Express skips Bhatni Junction from where most Varanasi bound trains take the bifurcation.We proceeded straight on the main line to Siwan - Chappra - Sonpur.Bhatni is a station that had MG lines running all the way to Allahabad via Varanasi.In the beginning of the video itself one can see the old MG alignment curving in .MG trains to Varanasi- Allahabad had to reverse engines here.Those days are gone now and a the new BG line was constructed to curve off to Varanasi from the East side of Bhatni rather than the west side where the MG tracks once existed.
