Cox and The Trust for Public Land today named Barbara Duerk as Virginia’s 2017 Cox Conserves Hero. The Roanoke Valley Chapter of FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Duerk’s nonprofit beneficiary, will receive $10,000.
