Although Abhijeet Das is a classical singer, he sings all kinds of songs including ghazals, bhajans, movie songs etc. Abhijeet Das says, Hindustani classical music is a melodious part of Indian culture which we shouldn't ever forget although we consider ourselves as modern people and listen modern music. He feels himself proud to sing songs based on classical music. He says, he's always grateful to the old music legends for making so many melodious songs which are artistically pleasant to listen and related to Indian music
