जीएसटी के जरिये अप्रत्यक्ष करों की चोरी पर लगाम लगाने के बाद मोदी सरकार ने प्रत्यक्ष कर में सुधार की ओर कदम बढ़ाया है। इसके तहत अब ऑडिटरों को अपने क्लाइंट की ओर से आयकर विभाग में दर्ज किए जानेवाले रिटर्न में अचल संपत्ति के लिए बीस हजार रुपये से अधिक के हर लेन-देन की जानकारी सरकार मुहैया करानी होगी।
