GST (ಸರುಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವಾ ತೆರಿಗೆ) ಜುಲೈ1 ರಿಂದ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿದೆ. 'GST' ಬರುವುದರಿಂದ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಎಲ್ಲ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀಳಲಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರೋದ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ GST ಯಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳು ಆಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಬೆಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಲಿದೆ.
