Cardinal George Pell, an advisor to the Pope, denied all charges of historical sex abuse in a press conference at the Vatican on 29 June. Pell is the highest ranking member of the Catholic Church to be charged with sexual abuse, and will now travel back to his homeland of Victoria, Australia, to defend himself.
