This is Nimb - a personal security smart ring who's inventors say could save your life. It took just 18 hours for the high-tech jewellery to raise its $50,000 goal on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. One of the projects' co-founders Kathy Roma has a personal reason for developing the technology.
