Police in Prince George’s County, Maryland, are hunting for a group of men who attempted to steal an ATM from a gas station on Monday, June 26.

Police released surveillance footage of the attempted theft on Wednesday, and in it three suspects are seen working to try to free the ATM from its mounting at a Shell gas station, which police said is on Marlboro Pike in Capitol Heights.

Two of the suspects put a chain around the ATM, and the third suspect uses a van, which police said was stolen, to try to pull the machine free. The suspects try three times to pull the ATM free, but only damage the top of the machine and never get it free. Credit: Prince George’s County Police Department via Storyful
