Manny Pacquiao said on 28 June that he has trained hard and is ready to defend his WBO welterweight belt against former schoolteacher and outsider Jeff Horn in Brisbane on 2 July. Pacquiao is hoping to coax undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr into a fight after he was beaten by the American in a unanimous points decision in Las Vegas in 2015.
