Recently Ekta Kapoor and Konkana Sen were speaking at the trailer launch of their upcoming film 'Lipstick Under My Burkha'. When asked about tax on sanitary napkins under GST Ekta Kapoor and Konkona Sen reacted. Ekta said- I think the necessity of a woman cannot be taxed. Be it a choice, a need or a desire.
