TJ Miller is getting slammed for his recent, very candid interview with the Hollywood Reporter after choosing to leave his hit HBO show, Silicon Valley.

The comedian is choosing to focus on different projects, along with his stand up comedy career, instead of continuing his performance as Erlich Bachman on the premium channel comedy series.

He tells the Hollywood Reporter that a conversation with his father led him to make his exit, after deciding “It’s starting to kind of suck. It’s a little stale. You’re becoming a bit hack.”

Miller also apparently didn’t like at least one of his producers, telling the Hollywood Reporter, “He went to Harvard, and we all know those kids are fucking diiots. That Crimson trash… The comedy writers in Hollywood are fucking Harvard graduates and that’s why they’re smug as a bug.”

Instead, Miller will star in the Emoji Movie, which he tells the Hollywood Reporter is “worse for American Culture.”

And although he’s complimentary of co-star, Thomas Middleditch, he alludes to the idea that he takes the role too seriously.

We’ll see what’s next for TJ Miller, but we guess after this interview, some people don’t find his attitude too funny.
