After BCCI's official press release on 25 May, Virendra Sehwag might not be eligible for the position as he has not coached an international or a first class cricket team in the past. According to the advertisement put out by BCCI, one of the conditions is that the candidate applying "should have successfully coached a cricket team of any of the member countries of the ICC, at the first class or at the International level." Last year the Cricket Advisory Committee had overlooked such rules so as to bring in Anil Kumble as the coach of the team. Will the same thing happen with Virendra Sehwag?
