When anti-LGBT protesters tried to crash the Knoxville, Tennessee, Pride Festival on June 17, they were thwarted by the power of music.
Protesters arrived at the gay pride event carrying signs bearing homophobic remarks, including one emblazoned with the words, “homo sex is a sin.” They began to chant, but were quickly drowned out by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington.
The DC-based group sang at the top of their lungs, until the protesters can no longer be heard. Credit: Twitter/GMCWashington via Storyful
